breaking her wrist while campaigning for Republican candidate Mitt Romney...
One local woman gets a special surprise this afternoon...
It was a
pretty interesting day for Paulette Chu... Who had no idea why she needed to be
at the republican headquarters this afternoon; but after getting a phone call
from Mitt Romney himself... She quickly began to put the pieces together.
"Hello
Paulette this is Mitt Romney how are you?"
It's
not everyday you can say you got a phone call from the Republican Candidate for
President of the
This
woman can say she accomplished that.
On
September 8 Paulette Chu was knocking on doors campaigning for Romney... It was
a rainy day and she ended up tripping, falling... And breaking her wrist...
But
after talking with Romney, she tells us it was well worth it.
Chair
of the Erie County Republican Party Dr. Verel Salmon said that Paulette already
had plans... And it took a little lying to get her down to the Republican
Headquarters.
But
he says Paulette is one of the hardest workers he's ever met.
But
Mitt isn't the only Romney Paulette has talked with recently. Mitt's son Josh
even signed her cast.
Paulette
says that next time she's going to break her leg so she receives more phone
calls!
