Two men accused of robbing three taverns last summer now face trial in Crawford County court.

Michael Ferguson and Harry Boyer Junior were arrested August 16 for robberies at the Owls Nest in Saegertown, Double D's in Venango and Nates Bar and Grill in Greenwood Township.

Police say Ferguson entered the three bars at closing time, fired a shotgun blast into the ceiling and demanded money. Boyer allegedly drove the getaway car.

Ferguson was bound over to court at a hearing this morning before District Judge Michael Rossi. Boyer, waived the charges through his attorney.

Both men remain in the Crawford County Jail unable to post bond.
