I was new to Fairview Elementary. I didn't have any friends and I was super scared. I didn't know what to expect. I walked to class there was Mrs. Paden. She made me feel welcome and she didn't seem to mind that I was new. She was nice, kind and sweet and caring. Right after that she made me want to learn more. She spends a lot of here time making us want to learn more. She made my cursive look way better. Once in a while we get to play a game! Even better she doesn't yell at anyone. She's even funny. She gave me and a few other kids a free slushie for quietly reading and not misbehaving. Also, she lets us make our own powerpoint! I've learned things I never knew before. I now know almost all of the states, I am so proud I have such a great teacher. Everyone in my class loves Mrs. Paden. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have had a good beginning of the year. I'm grateful I have Mrs. Paden. She encouraged me to set my reading goal to 1000 pages because I finished my goal of 300 pages. She keeps telling me to keep up the good work and you are such a good reader you should aim higher. Mrs. Paden is the best teacher I've ever had in my life. Mrs. Paden is making Fairview Elementary one of the best schools I ever went to because of her kindness.
