Man Dies After Westside Gun Incident

A man has died in another gun related incident in the City of Erie. 

Police say 47 year old Robert Rudolph was brandishing a gun in the 600 block of West 26th street just before 1 am Saturday.  

Bystanders jumped Rudolph and wrestled him to the pavement. The man was rendered unconscious in the struggle. Rudolph was taken to St Vincent Medical Center where he died Monday afternoon.

An autopsy is being conducted by the Erie County Coroner's office, and City of Erie detectives are investigating the case.  No charges have been filed.
