An Erie man behind bars for charges stemming from a February robbery is now facing more charges after investigators say he was attempting to solicit help at the Erie County Prison to kill and injure victims and witnesses who are expected to testify against him.

According to state police in Girard, 27 year old Alan Seelinger is now facing charges including criminal solicitation to commit criminal homicide and intimidation of witness or victims.

Troopers say there were four victims, all of them from New York State.

Seelinger was in jail after police say he was involved in a robbery in February.

He was arraigned on the newest charges today and sent back to the Erie County Prison on $250 thousand bail.
