Police Investigate Shots Fired on East Avenue
October 4, 2012 - Erie Police are investigating another shooting that happened early this morning.
Police say they responded to reports of shots fired around 12:20 this morning on East Avenue.
Two armed men reportedly were on the roof of 930 East Avenue when they broke in through a window.
A man and woman were inside and police say the two armed men reportedly said there is a lot of money in the apartment next door.
The two armed men left that apartment and reportedly fired four shots at the next apartment door.
A 19 year old man and a 27 year old man were inside.
The two armed men reportedly fired four more shots.
Police have recovered shell casings.
No one has been arrested at this time.
