Presque Isle State Park To Spray Herbicide on Property
Officials say narrowleaf cattail and fragmities are taking over wetland areas and changing the habitat structures for plants and animals.
Ag-Air Company, who is contracted with the park, will be in charge of the job.
Spraying the herbicide is a targeted effort in the growing area at the park and will
hopefully be completed in one day.
Presque Isle officials say the park will close Tuesday, October 9th and will opened again to visitors on Thursday, October 11th.
