Boat Crash in East County

OCTOBER 5, 2012- Several crews were called to a boat crash in East County this afternoon.

The Coast Guard, Lake City Fire, Emergy Care and West Lake Fire were on hand.

The boat crash happened around 3 this afternoon.

Reports from the scene say three men and two dogs were on the 30 ft long boat when it hit shallow water and crashed into rocks.

The Coast Guard took over and safely brought everyone to shore.

Officials say visibility and rain may have played a factor in the crash.
