13th Annual Buddy Walk Raises Awareness and Funds

    OCTOBER 7, 2012-Today marked the 13th annual Buddy Walk to promote awareness and inclusion for down syndrome.

    This year the walk was held indoors at the Junker Center at Penn State Behrend.

    More than 400 people walked laps in the gym to raise money for this very special cause.

    Buddy Walk organizers are hoping to raise around $8 thousand dollars.

The event also included carnival games, face painting and a DJ.
