OCTOBER 9, 2012- An update now to a story we covered about overcrowding at the APL in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Less than a week ago, the Ashtabula APL was 150 percent over capacity and was on the verge of having to euthanize several animals.

Thanks to several families who have adopted animals, the APL is now just at 20% capacity.

APL workers say they cannot thank these families enough for opening their hearts and homes

About thirty dogs still remain along with several cats.

if you want to adopt from the Ashtabula To contact the Ashtabula shelter call 440 969 9089

For the ANNA Shelter call 814 451 0230.
