The two twenty year old men have been identified as Darrian Beasley and Tymeen Williams with Williams being identified as the alleged gunman.
The two suspects fled on foot.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, made his way back to an apartment in the 300 block of
EmergyCare transported him to UPMC Hamot where he was in surgery this afternoon for a gun shot wound in the abdomen.
After a short foot pursuit the two were taken into custody in the 400 block of
"We had some unmarked units in the area that were instrumental in observing the suspects and once they were fleshed out, there were several units involved and running him down and making a quick apprehension," said Deputy Chief Randy Bowers, Erie Police Department.
No word on what led to the shooting or whether or not there was an altercation or robbery that happened before hand.
