Vocational Rehabilitation in Erie to Host Regional Job Fair
OCTOBER 18, 2012-Harrisburg - The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in Erie will host a job fair for persons with disabilities from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 19, at the District Office, 3200 Lovell Place, Erie.
The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation helps persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain or maintain employment. The job fair is being held in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
The fair will feature employers from Erie County, including Blair Outlet, Miller Brothers, State Civil Service Commission, Easter Seals, Gaudenzia Drug & Alcohol, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Topps Supermarket.
The Erie County CareerLink will also participate, providing transportation to and from the fair for job seekers with disabilities. More than 200 job seekers are expected to attend.
