Ribbers Begin Preparations

Rib cookoffThe grills and smokers fire up bright and early Wednesday morning, ready for one of the tastiest competitions of the summer. 8 ribbers are vieing for the Best Rib title and Best Sauce title. This year, there is also a Peoples Choice Award, meaning your taste buds are important to the competition. The ribfest opens at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and goes nightly until 10:00 p.m., through Saturday. Pigfoot of Cleveland is the defending champ. Three newcomers this year are looking to be "top hog.". This year, there is more than just food. A kid zone features rides and games for children and there is also live music by which to enjoy your ribs.
