Police Investigating East Side Shooting

Erie police are investigating reports of shots fired on the city's east side that happened last night.

            Around 11:30 pm, Erie police were called to the 600 block of East 8th Street.

            Two men told police they were shot at by two individuals who were running by them.

            Police say the victims did not give police a description of the suspects.

            According to police, one victim, Shantell Jones had an outstanding warrant.

            Police took him into custody.

            Two shell casings were recovered from the scene.

            No one was injured.
