Raccoon Park Updates Coming Soon

October 26, 2012 - If you visit Raccoon Creek Park in Springfield Township, you'll want to hear about the upcoming improvement project.

 

State and local officials announced a more than $300,000 upgrade to the 195-acre park.

 

DCNR invested $152,000 in the rehabilitation through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program.

 

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources secretary was in town for the announcement.

 

Senator Jane Earll was also at the event along with the architect of the plans, Jeff Kidder from Kidder Wachter Architect and Design.
