Villa Maria Elementary School held the seventh annual Rose Morphy Memorial Walk-A-Thon this afternoon.

Morphy was a Villa Maria Elementary school teacher who passed away at the age of 50 due to cancer.

Parents, alumni, friends and students of Villa Maria gathered at the school to walk in memory not only for Morphy, but for their loved ones.

The walk-a-thon helps raises funds for the Villa Maria Elementary Scholarship, which helps pay for students' tuitions.
