Good Kid 10/29/12

The holidays are right around the corner and this week's Good Kid is making sure there are plenty of presents to go around.

            Traci Teudhope takes us to McKean to meet her.

            It's "Operation Christmas Child," and one teenage girl is packing hundreds of boxes to help the less fortunate.

            As Brianna picks out items for each of the boxes, a lot is running through her mind.

 Brianna Wolfgang said:

"Like I wonder who's going to get this box and what they're going to think about it and if they like it and how much they do."

"Brianna and Rose Dobson spend a lot of time putting these boxes together. They say it's all worth it because they know they're spreading smiles."

Rose Dobson said:

"It's a wonderful way to let these kids know that somebody is thinking of them even though they don't know them personally."

At just 14 years old, Brianna has learned that giving back feels really good.

"I think it's real nice of her and a lot more kids should do it to learn they have a lot more than these kids we're sending boxes to."

The entire experience has been eye opening for this teen, as she learns more about how people are living in other parts of the world.

She says it's been a huge life lesson.

Brianna said:

"I actually feel more appreciative for the things I've got because some people can't get it."
