County's Preparation Helped Minimize Damage

Erie County Emergency Management officials say preparation helped minimize damage in Erie County.
There wasn't as much damage as expected from the storm. With fewer calls into the county 9-1-1 center than expected.
Since Erie County wasn't hit as hard as some expected, Dale Robinson of Erie County Emergency Management hopes people do not become complacent the next time a big storm makes it's way towards the area.
Earlier this year, crews cut back trees near power lines.
Officials say that helped lower the number of power lines impacted by falling branches.
