LERTA Program Gets Approval From County Council

The City of Erie's new LERTA program gets an okay from the County tonight...

Erie County Council unanimously approved the program designed as an incentive for development in the city...

This vote comes after several changes were made to LERTA...

There is now a ten year residential property benefit for target areas and a five year benefit for non-target areas.

To get final approval ... LERTA needs approval from the city, county and Erie school district.
