Steady Stream Of Voters Hitting The Polls

watch video
November 6th, 2012

Already voters have been filtering in and out to make sure their votes count this Election Day.

The polls certainly have been busy this morning and as we head into the afternoon officials anticipate a steady stream of voters.

Of course with this being a presidential election voter turnout is expected to be higher than normal. President Obama and Mitt Romney's campaigning all comes down to today. But of course there are many local races that have captured us in the past months, namely the senatorial race in the 49th District and then the U.S. and State Representative races in the 3rd District.

Polls will be open until 8 this evening.

If people don't know where their polling place is they can go to votespa.com or eriecountygov.org or call the elections office at the Erie County Courthouse.
