One Organization Helps The Homeless Vote

One local organization is making sure the voices of those often ignored were heard loud and clear today.
It's been months of preparation and planning for Election Day at the Mental Health Association of North Western Pennsylvania.
It all dates back to voter registration day last September.
Mental health officials sat one-on-one with the homeless and walked them through the process of how to register.
They also helped determined an address.
Legally the homeless were allowed to use the Mental Health Associations address on 1101 Peach Street.
Mental health officials also helped transport the homeless back and forth to the polls today and say Election Day was ultimately a success.
