November 6th, 2012

The Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority is looking for a developer for a major piece of Bayfront property.

The executive director of the port authority, Ray Schreckengost, says they want to develop the McAllister Place along the waterfront.

The project was originally put on hold because of the poor economy.

Schreckengost says that the building is in bad shape and that it's a good time to find a developer.

The price tag is expected to cost between 25 and 30 million dollars.

A developer can contact the port authority if interested before the end of the year.
