Ex PSU President Spanier Arraigned
Former Penn State President Graham Spanier was arraigned in a Harrisburg courtroom this morning on charges that he lied about and covered up the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
In a procedure that only lasted a few minutes Spanier was arraigned on charges of perjury, obstruction, endangering the welfare of children, failure to report suspected abuse and conspiracy.
Spanier is free on $125,000 unsecured bail, but had to give up his passport and his travel is restricted to the commonwealth. After leaving the courtroom today, Spanier had nothing to say.
When asked about the alleged "conspiracy of silence" between top officials at Penn State, Spanier's attorney said, "that is ridiculous. It is absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Spanier was never given a chance to speak to this grand jury, to give his side of the story and we look forward to the chance to present his side of the story in the future."
Penn State officials Tim Curley, and Gary Schultz were arraigned last Friday on the same charges as Spanier, but the former Penn State president was out of town for his father-in-law's funeral

YES, About time!!! I think old Dottie Sandusky should ALSO be charged for NOT saying anything while Jerry Sandusky was raping those poor boys in their home!!
