Leading kids on the straight path to success, that's the whole goal of one local program...
It was a good turnout for the Erie Police Explorers for their annual recruitment night...
Officials want to answer any questions you may have with their line of business.
But what does it take? If you're a student between the ages of 14 and 20, interested in law enforcement... This is a good first step to get your foot in the door.
This program gives you an advantage if you want to join the police force, you still need your Act 180 Certification, but this program helps hone your skills.
And especially with all of the recent violence among youth in the community, the explorers want to help those kids who don't have a sense of direction.
