Man Busted For Marijuana Growing Operation

Jamestown police today busted up a large marijuana growing operation.

 

Police searched a home at 834 Lafayette Street this morning after they received information that the home's power supply had been tampered with.

 

When police entered the residence they discovered what they say is a large marijuana growing operation consisting of over 100 plants, over 2 pounds of dried marijuana, a quantity of cocaine, 2 guns and growing equipment.

 

Police later charged 49 year old Patrick Silk with numerous counts including criminal possession of marijuana.

Silk is in the city jail pending arraignment.
