Speaker Shares Insight at Jefferson Educational Society

The separation of church and state was the topic of discussion this morning at the Jefferson Educational Society's global summit being held in Erie.

Executive Director of the Council for Secular Humanism, Tom Flynn, focused on the disjoint between the American population and the number of religious communities that are part of the accepted "social circle."

Flynn says society needs to think less about other students' individual rights and think more about what our government obligations are when running schools, courthouses and public institutions.

Flynn was one of the speakers at the Jefferson Educational Society's global futures summit
