November 15, 2012 - Students at Central Tech High School and Roosevelt Elementary School marked the fifth annual Grief Awareness Day.

Students dressed in blue and created a butterfly wall to remember the loved ones they've lost.

The Caring Place hosts the event and helps children cope with the loss of loved ones.

Sean Lafferty spent the morning with these students and teachers who remembered their loved ones.

"This is just kind of a way they can see in a picture form how many kids have lost somebody and they can pair up and partner and share those experiences with one another," said Cindi Stoops, Central Tech HS.

Students also raised money to help the caring place be able to buy an air hockey table for children.
