DOC Reports Increase In Prison Assaults

15, 2012--The
State Department of Corrections released numbers to us revealing that since
2011 assaults and weapon finds at the Albion Prison increased by about 63%
jumping from 27 incidents to an estimated 44 in 2012.
The Department of Corrections as a whole reports a nearly 9% increase statewide from 629 to an estimated 685 in 2012.

They have too much freedom...If you are convicted of something that you did do...WHY do they have so many rights in prison, BE STRICTER on them, stop giving them a life away from home type atmosphere...they ARE supposed to be paying for their crimes, not sitting in luxury on computers, TV, etc...make them WORK for their restitution!!! And take away priviledges ! They aren't there on a vacation, they ARE there to pay for what they did wrong!!
