DUI Charges Pending After An Accident In West Erie
The driver of an SUV involved in a rollover accident Thursday afternoon is facing DUI charges.
The accident was reported just after 2:30 this afternoon at West 4th and Pittsburgh Ave.
The driver was traveling north on Pittsburgh Avenue when he lost control of his jeep and slammed into a tree, flipping the vehicle onto it's roof. Rescue crews needed the Hurst tool to help the driver from the twisted wreckage.
He was taken away in a Millcreek police car after the crash. The name of the driver has not been released, but police said he lived just a few blocks from where he slammed into the tree

I cannot, for the life of me, underestand WHY these DRUNK DRIVERS are given so many times to get back on the road again...ONE time, should be enough...if you are drunk driving, TAKE AWAY THEIR LICENSE!! How simple!! Common Sense!!
