Man Pistol Whipped And Shot At By a Gang Of 5
Erie police were called to the 18 hundred block of Cascade Street just before 8 Saturday night after a man reported he was pistol whipped and shot at.
The man told police he was getting out of his car when he was approached by 4 or 5 suspects wearing masks. He said one of the suspects pistol whipped him then fired a round from a handgun .
The victim was not injured but the suspects made off with his car, described as a egg shell white colored Sebring.
Police are checking to see if this robbery was related any way to the Presque Isle Beer for less robbery that occurred about a half hour after this crime was reported.
