Fire Destroys Former Conneaut Lake Building

Two dozen fire departments have been battling a blaze in ConneautLake this evening.

The blaze was first reported around 6:45 this evening.

 

According to CrawfordCounty9-1-1, the building on Route 618 was last known as Burkett's Country Store.

But neighbors told our crew it's now used mainly for storage.

 

The Conneaut Lake Park Fire Department is being assisted at the scene by 23 other departments from Crawford, Erie and MercerCounties in Pennsylvania, also Ashtabula County, Ohio.

 

 No injuries have been reported.
