Three Taken In For Questioning, Released After Shots Fired

    November 27, 2012 - Three people were taken in for questioning after reports of shots fired on the city's east side.

    Erie Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue before midnight last night.

    Numerous callers reported hearing shots fired.

    Shell casings were recovered in an alley near a beer distributor in the 2500 block Pennsylvania Avenue.

    Three people were taken in for questioning but were released.

    No one was injured.

    Police say the investigation is ongoing.
