Coroner Pronounces Woman Brain Dead After Weekend Attack

    November 27, 2012 - An Erie woman attacked in her west side apartment this weekend has been pronounced brain dead.

    The Erie County Coroner says she was pronounced brain dead at 2pm at Saint VincentHealthCenter.

    Coroner Lyell Cook says an autopsy will be done tomorrow.

    The woman's name is not being released yet.

    Jeffrey Selby, 51, was arrested and charged with criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault for his alleged involvement with the incident.
