Fire Destroys Millcreek Cottage Home

NOVEMBER 27, 2012- Crews are investigating a fire that destroyed a Millcreek cottage last night.

The fire happened around 11:15 p.m. at 3151 Lakefront Drive near the Peninsula.

According to the West Lake Fire Chief, it took fire crews about 20 to 30 minutes to put out the flames.

Luckily, no one was home at the time.

This is said to be a vacation home.

The homeowner lives in Florida.

The house suffered heavy damage.

A fire inspector is investigating the cause
