Meadville Bank Robbed

November 30, 2012- Vernon Township Police and PA State Troopers are on the lookout for the suspect in a bank robbery.

The robbery happened at the Fist Niagara Bank branch in the Park Avenue Plaza just before  1PM.

According to police reports from the scene, a white man entered the bank, passed a note to one of the tellers and escaped on foot with an undetermined amount of money, According to reports, no gun was shown during the robbery.

The suspect is 6 feet tall, wearing a black coat and blue jeans. He also wore a black hat with a red logo. He was seen escaping on foot, moving in the direction of Meadville.

No injuries were reported. The bank is closed as the investigation progresses.
