watch video
Erie police continue to search for the suspect that robbed 2 convenience stores early Saturday morning within minutes of each other.

The first robbery took place at the Circle K at W 26th and Cherry streets around 6:30 Saturday morning. According to police, a white man  wearing a Halloween skull mask entered the store with a knife and demanded money.

Then 13 minutes later the Kwik Fill at Peach and Cherry streets was held up.   The two stores are within blocks of each other.

Police believe that both robberies were done by the same person. No word on how much  cash was taken.
