December 11th, 2012

Anthony Taglianetti, the man accused of shooting and killing a Clymer Central School superintendent, is expected to return to Chautauqua County sometime this coming week.

The Chautauqua County sheriff has a plan as to when Taglianetti will be brought back to Clymer, New York.

District Attorney, Dave Foley, says Taglianetti failed to file a writ of habeas corpus where he's being held and that's why he's being extradited.

Taglianetti is currently being held in Prince William County, Virginia.

According to reports, Taglianetti refused to waive extradition proceedings to New York.

He is now eligible for an "immediate return" for a charge of second degree murder.

It's uncertain as to why Taglianetti wouldn't sign the writ of habeas corpus, which is a proceeding that would determine if Taglianetti's imprisonment or detention were lawful.

It was back on September 24th when superintendant Keith Reed was found shot to death near his home in Clymer, New York.

The Associated Press initially reported that Taglinanetti traveled from Woodbridge, Virginia to Clymer, New York where he shot 51-year-old Reed.

Reports say Taglianetti believed reed was having relations with his wife from who he was separtated.

Authorities have until January 4, 2013 to get Taglianetti.

The Chautauqua County Sheriffs Department is expected to travel to Virginia as early as Monday.
