Mercer Co Girl Has Her Wish Come True
But the giving started earlier in the day at Ridgefield Elementary School with the student body writing letters to Santa. In fact the man in red was outside of the school with Mrs Clause collecting the letters to bring to the Millcreek Mall. Jordan Parra was a Make-A-Wish recipient and had the honors of delivering the letters to the Mall. But he also got to ride in a firetruck from West Ridge Fire Department with Santa and Mrs Clause.
At the mall, Rebecca Krauss was waiting for her wish to come true. Rebecca was in a 4 wheeler accident this past memorial Day and suffered a stroke. Her wish was to come to the Millcreek Mall to shop at Macy's and get a facial and have a professional make up artist do her make up. Make-A-Wish made sure that wish came through.
And Macy's donated 2 dollars for every letter from the kids at Ridgefield and the Millcreek School District. More than 54 hundred letters were collected, meaning Macy's at the Millcreek Mall donated close to 11 thousand dollars to Make-A-Wish
