EAST 18TH STREET HOME INVASION

Two people were injured during an apparent home invasion on Erie's east side this morning.
Around 12- 30 this morning, Erie police and rescue crews were called to 115 East 18th street for reports of a home invasion.
According to Erie police, two people were assaulted during the incident.
Their injuries are unknown at this time, and it is unknown if they were transported to the hospital.
A handgun was allegedly involved, and we will have a description of the suspects as soon as it becomes available.
Nothing was taken from the residence, and Erie police are still investigating.
