New Historical Structures Fund At Presque Isle State Park

A big announcement at Presque Isle State Park this morning means a bright future for historical structures at the park.
Park officials and the Erie Community Foundation announced the Portia Norton Presque Isle Historical Structures Fund.
This fund was made possible by Portia Norton, a 92 year old who has a great love for Presque Isle.
The money from the foundation will be used to renovate and maintain the lighthouse and PerryMonument.
The goal is to make the lighthouse accessible to the public.
