watch video

December 21, 2012 - A shooting on the city's east side sends a man to the hospital and has Erie Police piecing together evidence.
Around 11:45 last night, Erie Police were called to 2630 Parade Street for reports of at least one person shot.

Erie Police say three men forced entry into an apartment on the second floor of the building.

The suspects were described only as black men in their late teens or early 20s.

According to Erie Police, one man was shot multiple times, even once in the head.

Two other men were inside the apartment but police say they were uninjured.

Those two have been interviewed by investigators.

Police aren't sure if anything was taken from the apartment.

Police are still investigating and will continue to process the scene today, even reviewing video surveillance.

Erie Police say the man is in critical condition; his name has not been released yet.

Comments

Another violent terror attack by teenagers with guns right in central Erie. All too typical for trashcan Erie. Punk loser kids with guns shooting people in the head - yeah that's our dumpster Erie on any given day.
