Late Night Accident Snaps Utility Pole

It was an early morning for Penelec crews after an accident snapped a telephone pole in two late Sunday night. Police were called out to the 4300 block of Conrad Road shortly after 11:00 p.m. The driver of an Oldsmobile Alero apparently lost control of his car, struck a utility pole and snapped it in two. The car came to a stop on its side. 5 people were inside, luckily none of them suffered serious injuries. Police barricaded the street and Penelec crews were called to fix the pole.
