Shell Station Robbed on West Side

DECEMBER 21, 2012- Erie Police are investigating an armed robbery on Erie's West Side.

It happened just after seven o'clock this evening at the Shell Station at 1502 Greengarden Road.

According to Erie Police, the suspect is a black man, about 6'2", 200 lbs wearing a black hoodie, jeans and a black mask.

The clerk told police the man was armed with what looked like a shotgun.

He forced into the office and told her to give him money.  After she did, he then demanded money from the register.

The money, about a thousand dollars, was put into a small blue trash can...

        The suspect escaped.

The clerk was not hurt.

Comments

This freak used a trashcan to commit a violent crime in trashcan Erie? I rest my case.
