Recycling Christmas Trees

Christmas may be over...but there's one group who wants to collect your trees...

This was 23rd annual Christmas tree collection program for and Fairview residents...

Recycling coordinators collect the trees now, and then in the spring they chip them and use them for mulch...

As you can see, cars were coming in pretty steadily all morning, we're told by the end of the day coordinators will have collected 200 trees.

They are also collecting donations to give to the Emmaus Soup Kitchen; coordinators are hoping to raise $650.
