Miss America Pageant Changes Lives
It's an organization that former Miss America's say has changed their lives.
When asked to sum up the competition in one word, the former Miss Americas said scholarships, education, service and of course, talent.
They say thats what makes the organization stand out from other pageants.
Miss Pennsylvania showed off her talent at the preliminary competition on stage at the Planet Hollywood resort and casino Wednesday night.
Jordyn Colao did a high energy tap dance routine to whatever Lola Wants.
She was poised and performed effortlessly.
Her mother Laurie has been with her every step of the way.
She says she's full of emotion watching her middle child compete for the Miss America title.
About eighty people have come to Las Vegas to support Jordyn.
She says its really given her a lift going into the final days leading up to the competition.
