EPA Wants Presque Isle Bay De-listed from Areas of Concern

The bay became an area of concern in 1991 after tumors were found on brown bullheaded catfish... Contaminants and sediments from the waste water plant were also found...

were made and in 2002
But some local officials say they worry that once the department of state removes the bay from the list... It will become ignored and neglected.
The EPA asked the Department of State to Act on this request by February 15th...
