Two Robbed by Two Suspects on Erie's Westside

Jan 11,2013 - Erie Police are investigating a robbery and assault on the west side.

 It happened around 5:45pm in the 300 block of West 9th Street.

According to police a 16 year old girl and a 17 year old boy were approached from behind by two suspects.

After the boy was punched in the head, the suspects demanded money and escaped with a small amount of cash from the girl.

They were last seen heading north through yards in the 400 block of West 9th.

Erie Police describe the suspects as black men, both about 18 years old.

One of them was about 5'10" wearing dark clothing the other about 5'6" and also wearing dark clothing.

No weapons were shown.
