JANUARY 11, 2013-  It's the day before the quest for the crown in Las Vegas is over.

It's been a lot of hard work and preparation leading up to the big competition day.... but the contestants aren't the only ones feeling the pressure....

Jordyn Colao could become the first Miss Pennsylvania to win the Miss America title since 1954.

Talk about a lot of pressure!

Her parents have been with her every step of the way and are feeling the same way.

Miss Pennsylvania Jordyn Colao is more than two thousand miles from her home.

The distance is a challenge itself ... not to mention the pressure she's under fighting for the crown.

"There's about eighty five people here from Pennsylvania and that men's the world to me and having everybody behind me I couldn't ask for anything more," says Jordyn Colao

Her parents Joe and Laurie are right by her side... Supporting and encouraging her every step of the way.

The Miss America organization hosted a parents only event for those who have daughters participating in Miss America.

They're all in the same boat.

"We're all in a very stressful situation. We're all here supporting our daughters. And a such as were trying to enjoy the experience well know they're going through a lot of stress and in the end they're all winners but ultimately there's only one," says Laurie Colao, Jordyn's mom.

Jordyn's father arrived in Vegas on Tuesday and has been to the three preliminary competitions.

"Every step she takes on that stage you're walking it with her and every breath she takes you're thinking you just hope that every word that comes out of her mouth is what the judges want to hear," Joe Colao, Jordyn's dad.

The telecast will air on ABC Saturday night when all fifty three contestants will take the stage for the last time.

Her parents know she will succeed.

"She's a very strong willed individual when the things get going and the things are tough she digs down deep," says Joe Colao.

"I just want her to go for it. There nothing to lose. I've it your all. On Saturday night hopefully her name will be called and the sky's the limit," Laurie Colao.
