Several Cars Collide Along Bayfront Highway

An accident this morning along the Bayfront Highway sent several people to the hospital.
Just after eight this morning, several cars collided in the east bound lanes of the Bayfront Connector.
This happened at the Broad Street Exit.
According to reports from the scene, at least four cars were involved and several people were taken from the scene in ambulances.
No word yet at this hour on the names or conditions of the patients.
An investigation into the cause of the accident us underway.
