Ulysses Altland Trial Day 2

watch video

It's day two in the Ulysses Altland murder trial, as the prosecution wraps up and the defense begins questioning witnesses.

Forensic pathologist Dr Eric Vey took the stand this morning, telling the jury that 40 year old Brent Washington lost a catastrophic amount of blood, and there was no way he could have survived that gun shot.

Washington was shot and killed by 23 year old Altland inside of Wagners bar and grill on march 3rd, the defense saying Altland was forced to fire shots in order to defend his family.

That same evening Ulysses Altland's sister was shot in the arm and we're told a fight broke out that later caused Altland to fire shots.

Ulysses' twin brother testified and told the jury that he is not lying on the stand to protect his brother.

Altland himself has decided not to testify.

Closing arguments will begin tomorrow morning.
